Description
What is BCAA?
More than 30% of your muscle protein consists of BCAAs. BCAAs are essential amino acids that are not produced by the body itself and must therefore be obtained from food (supplements). Prevent your muscles from deficient in these essential amino acids through BCAA.

When a muscle has run out of energy and still has to train for a while, the muscle enters a very difficult phase. The muscle urgently needs fuel, namely carbohydrates or glycogen that is stored in the depots between the muscles and the liver. When this stock is also used up, the body can start on the fat reserves of the body. However, this process takes time and the fats are not converted into energy as quickly. What now?

Then the body can claim the proteins and the proteins of the muscle. The easiest muscle proteins are then addressed. Proteins that provide energy the fastest and are easy to convert are the 3 valuable and essential amino acids: the Branched-Chain amino acids, or BCAAs.

It is therefore advisable to take extra Branched-Chain amino acids if you follow a special diet, eat low carbohydrates or are preparing for a competition. You take extra Branched-Chain amino acids before and immediately after every training, workout or competition. Only in this way can you help the body to replenish the high-quality and essential amino acids.

'Essential' means that the body cannot produce the amino acids itself but can take it from the daily diet or through supplementation. BCAA is therefore a must to take if you want to prevent muscle breakdown.

What is Glutamine?
Glutamine is not an essential amino acid. The body makes it from other amino acids, mainly in the muscles. Glutamine is also found in protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy products and beans. Glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in the body and is involved in more metabolic processes than any other amino acid. With a strict diet, illness or vigorous physical exercise, the concentration of glutamine in the body can quickly decrease. That's because the body can convert glutamine into glucose when it needs 'fast' fuels, or because the body needs to fight off germs. The cells of the immune system like to use glutamine for fuel.
